Model 2 Carries UAV Radar Array

Sagebrush Technology developed the Model 2 gimbal as part of a Northrop Grumman project to provide a synthetic aperture radar for US Army UAV’s. Under the original program, two systems were delivered and deployed by the Army for surveillance missions around the world. Both gimbals have thousands of hours of flight time without a failure. Sagebrush’s Roto-Lok® drive system has proven to be an ideal solution to the demanding requirements of UAV applications. The Model 2 met all specifications for reliability, low power consumption, light weight, accuracy, and packaging.
