Joseph Zmuda
Joe Zmuda has served as President since 2000, taking Sagebrush from a division of a publicly-held to an employee-owned corporation in 2002. He is responsible for the overall management of the company.
Joe retired from the USAF in 1983 as a Lt. Col. and subsequently managed high energy laser and optical development programs for Hughes Aircraft, Logicon and S-Systems.
He holds a BS ME from U. Mass Lowell, an MS in Aerospace Eng. From the Air Force Institute of Technology and a PhD. in Engineering Science from Purdue University.
August Sanchez
August Sanchez has served as Sagebrush Technology’s Chief Technology Officer since 1990, and has directly and indirectly participated in all phases of product design, documentation, testing, and customer training for the large majority of all company standard, customized standard, and prototype products. He has been responsible for all applications and development of the company’s patented Roto-Lok® Drive technology and design analysis software since 1994.
August spent 8 years in the Air Force as a Physicist participating in radiation transport/ materials damage and high power laser applications, prior to joining a predecessor company of Sagebrush in 1976 ,continuing with a second predecessor company in 1981, and finally to the current company, for a total of 29 years in precision gimbal development.
He holds a MS in Physics from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a BA with an Expanded Physics Major, from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado.
David McCreery
David McCreery has been the Marketing and Business Development Manager since 2004. Prior to taking on his present duties, David spent five years as Sagebrush’s Program Manager.
Prior to coming to Sagebrush Technology, David spent 12 years designing and supporting SCADA systems for the electric utility industry, and 6 years as a lead engineer responsible for the system integration and startup of process control systems in various semiconductor manufacturing facilities around the world.
He holds a BS in Engineering from The Wichita State University.
Vaughn E. Halford
Vaughn has been with Sagebrush since January 2003 where he served as Production Manager. In 2005, he assumed the position of Program Manager, and also provides after-sales customer service and support for the company. As of September 2006 he was named Director of Operations overseeing the Production and Engineering Departments as well as company’s IT systems and programs.
Vaughn has worked in a number of industries including the Navy’s Nuclear Power Program, Waste Management and Environmental Restoration at many of the nations national labs (mainly at the Idaho National Laboratory), the Directed Energy laser development programs at Kirtland AFB, and most recently as a manager for Corning’s Optical Networking Devices division.
He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Industrial Technology (Machine Design) from the University of Idaho, and an MBA from the University of New Mexico.
Cathy Morgas
Cathy has been with Sagebrush Technology since 2004 where she served as the Production Assistant prior to becoming the Office Manager in 2007. As Office Manager, Cathy is responsible for the overall administrative support along with human resource and financial responsibilities.
Cathy’s entire work experience has been in administration either in a support role or in the management arena. Her experience ranges from administrative support to District Manager for GE Medical Systems for seven years, Assistant District Manager to District Manager for a water and wastewater district in Texas for 12 years to her current position with Sagebrush Technology.
She holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
