The Model 30 Roto-Lok® gimbal is a general purpose system designed for payloads of 30 pounds or more. The gimbal is designed as a yoke system and supports payloads at the intersection of the azimuth and elevation axes. The Model 30 Roto-Lok® is equipped with servo motors and uses encoders on the motor shaft to close position and rate control loops.
